The answer is both ‘yes’ and ‘no’; ‘no’, because with Ashley Leiman and John Chipman as trustees and working closely with Sarah Christie, (Head of Regional Conservation Programmes, Zoological Society of London) we have an extraordinary combination of expertise. With their guidance and with next to no overheads our grants have specific and tangible results. The answer is also ‘yes’, we are just another charity and we are proud to be so. We join with the many other organisations and individuals in the cumulative and collective task of preserving the planet for both man and beast.
